Nagpur: Rashmi Iyer of Nagpur made India proud by winning a gold medal at the World Powerlifting Championship 2025 held in Durban, South Africa.

Rashmi, who represented India in the under 60kg weight category in the Open category, has brought laurels to our country with her outstanding performance. The competition, which took place from November 4-10, saw participation from 22 countries and 390 athletes. Rashmi’s remarkable achievement is a testament to her hard work, dedication, and passion for powerlifting.
