Nagpur: The Press Club of Nagpur is set to host a remarkable two-day solo photography exhibition titled “FACES”, conceived and curated by renowned photographer Dr. Amit Bijon Dutta. The exhibition will be inaugurated on Saturday, November 22, 2025, marking the opening of a visual journey that captures the very essence of India through its people.
The exhibition will be held at Press Club of Nagpur, 64/1 Red Cross Road, Opposite Institute of Science, Civil Lines, Nagpur, on November 22 and 23, 2025. The timings are 11:00 am to 8:00 pm.

FACES — “A Journey Through India’s Soul in Portraits” — the exhibition presents 50 evocative portraits, meticulously printed on 2ft x 3ft canvases in both colour and black-and-white formats. Each frame narrates a story, a moment suspended in time, reflecting the diversity, resilience, and emotional depth of individuals across the subcontinent.
From the rugged terrains of Ladakh to the serene backwaters of Kerala, and from the deserts of Rajasthan to the remote valleys of Arunachal Pradesh, “FACES” transcends geography to celebrate the shared humanity of India’s many identities. The portraits are not studio creations, but authentic representations of people encountered in their natural environments — farmers, monks, artisans, and children, each embodying the spirit and texture of the land they belong to.
Speaking about his work, Dr. Dutta remarked that “every face tells a story, every wrinkle carries a history, and every expression holds a truth.” His photographs reveal not just the visible features of individuals but the unseen narratives of emotion, struggle, and dignity that define the human condition.
A distinguished civil engineer by profession and an internationally acclaimed photographer by passion, Dr. Amit Bijon Dutta has exhibited his works across more than 50 countries and has received numerous national and international accolades. His latest exhibition in Nagpur promises to be a visual and emotional experience, inviting viewers to reflect upon the infinite diversity and unity that define India.
The exhibition will remain open to the public on 22nd and 23rd November 2025, from 11:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the Press Club of Nagpur.
