
The 4th International Conference on Paradigm Shifts in Communication, Embedded Systems, Machine Learning, and Signal Processing (PCEMS 2025)
Nagpur, Maharashtra — The Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering, Visvesvaraya National Institute of Technology (VNIT), Nagpur, is set to organize the 4th International Conference on Paradigm Shifts in Communication, Embedded Systems, Machine Learning, and Signal Processing (PCEMS 2025) on 6th–7th November 2025.
PCEMS is the flagship international conference of the department and serves as a premier platform for researchers, academicians, and industry professionals to exchange ideas and showcase cutting-edge innovations in the fields of communication systems, embedded technologies, machine learning, and signal & image processing.
This year’s edition has witnessed an overwhelming response, with 296 research paper submissions from across the globe. Following a rigorous peer-review process conducted by over 300 expert reviewers from reputed national and international institutions, 125 highquality research papers have been selected for presentation. Each submission was meticulously evaluated for its originality, scientific contribution, relevance, and clarity.
It is planned to publish the peer-reviewed and selected papers of the conference as proceedings with Springer in their prestigious “Lecture Notes in Electrical Engineering (LNEE)” series, providing global visibility and scholarly recognition to the contributors.
Apart from paper presentations, PCEMS 2025 will feature tutorials, a Ph.D. colloquium, academic and industry exhibitions, and several interactive sessions to promote collaboration between academia, research institutions, and industry leaders.
A major highlight of PCEMS 2025 is the lineup of eleven distinguished keynote speakers, including eminent academicians, scientists, and industry experts from India and abroad. The inaugural keynote will be delivered by Dr. P. Hanumantha Rao, Director General, SAMEER (R&D of MeitY, Government of India) on the topic “5G and 6G Technologies: India Initiatives.”
