
Nagpur: Nagpur Municipal Corporation’s Additional Commissioner, Mrs. Vaishnavi B., visited the primary and secondary schools at Durganagar on Thursday and interacted with students to assess their academic progress.
During her visit, Mrs. Vaishnavi engaged the students with questions about their studies, testing their knowledge in various subjects. She also met with students from the kindergarten section, asking them to identify colors, objects, fruits, and even English words. The children confidently answered her questions, which brought visible satisfaction to the Additional Commissioner.
Accompanying her during the visit were NMC’s Assistant Education Officer Sanjay Dighore, School Inspector Vijay Soni, and teacher Krishna Ujane, along with other staff members.

In her interaction with teachers, the Additional Commissioner emphasized maintaining educational quality and efficient school administration. She also reviewed the progress of the “Honda Ki Pathshala” initiative and appreciated its role in enhancing learning experiences for young students.
Her visit reflected the civic body’s commitment to strengthening foundational education and encouraging student engagement across Nagpur’s municipal schools.
