Nagpur: Ronnie Chatterjee of Nagpur, who is at present the head physiotherapist of Odisha Cricket Association’s Ranji Trophy team, has been appointed physiotherapist for the East Zone team in the upcoming Duleep Trophy at Bengaluru. The star-studded team includes India players including Ishan Kishan (Captain), Mohammed Shami, Akash Deep, Mukesh Kumar, Riyan Parag and Abhimanyu Easwaran.
Chatterjee, who was a former physiotherapist at Vidarbha Cricket Association (VCA), is the head physiotherapist with Odisha Cricket Association since July 2022. In the past three years, his exceptional efforts for the Odisha have enabled the State players to reach their peak performances thus showcasing his capable leadership, work ethics and organisational skills. His illustrious career is marked by notable BCCI appointments including work with the India U-19 and U-23 men’s teams at Centre of Excellence, Bengaluru, contributing to its progress.
Chatterjee dedicates his achievement to his late parents, whose unwavering love, values, and sacrifice shaped the foundation of his life and honouring their legacy in every step forward.
