Nagpur residents in multiple localities will experience scheduled power outages on Wednesday, August 13, 2025, due to ongoing maintenance work, relocation of underground cables, installation of new poles, and commissioning of new electrical equipment by the Maharashtra State Electricity Distribution Company Limited (MSEDCL).
The works are being undertaken as part of road-widening, bridge renovation, and network upgradation projects across the city.

1. Reshimbagh – Siraspeeth – Surrounding Areas
- Reason: Relocation of 11 kV Ayurvedic underground cable and commissioning of a new Ring Main Unit (RMU) as part of the road-widening project from Reshimbagh Square to Bhola Ganesh Square (in front of Suresh Bhat Hall).
- Power Cut Timing: 9 am to 1 pm
2. Gangabai Ghat Bridge – Mahal Areas
- Reason: Relocation of Mahal 1 and Mahal 2 feeders from Bagadganj substation for bridge renovation.
- Power Cut Timing: 2 pm to 5 pm
