Nagpur: A man has been accused of cheating another person by using the name of Nagpur MLC Sandeep Joshi to promise a Government job. MLC Joshi himself has lodged a complaint with the police after learning about the fraud.
The accused has been identified as Abhay Ghodvaidya, a resident of Adarsh Nagar, Dighori. The victim, Nilesh Khodatkar, alleged that Ghodvaidya promised to get his wife a job by claiming to have close ties with MLC Sandeep Joshi. For this, Ghodvaidya allegedly took Rs 4.5 lakh in cash from Khodatkar. Despite repeated requests, the promised job never materialised, and the money was not returned.

Frustrated, Khodatkar directly approached MLC Sandeep Joshi to complain about the matter. Joshi, after hearing the complaint, immediately approached the Deputy Commissioner of Police, Crime Branch, and filed an official complaint. He has also instructed the police to take strict legal action against the accused. Police are now investigating the case.
