Nagpur: The DB squad of Rana Pratap Nagar Police Station, led by PSI Rathod, raided DZO The Luxury Lounge for serving liquor without a valid permit to its patrons between the intervening night of Sunday and Monday. An offense under this connection was registered against the DZO manager and owner at Rana Pratap Nagar Police Station on Monday morning.
According to police sources, DZO The Luxury Lounge doesn’t have a permanent license to serve liquor to its customers, so the owner often uses a one-day permit from the Excise Department to cater to revelers on weekends. However, DZO owners deliberately ignored the norms and served their patrons liquor, at expensive rates obviously, without obtaining valid permits.
