Nagpur: 45 officers and employees of MSEDCL pledged to donate eyes in an eye donation awareness camp organized at Saoner office of Mahavitaran in association with Roshni Foundation and Madhav Netra Pedhi, Nagpur.
The chief guest of the program was General Secretary of Madhav Eye Hospital Dr Agnihotri. At the outset, Rajendra Kumar Jain on behalf of Roshni Foundation gave information about the purpose and function of eye donation after death. Saoner Division Executive Engineer Dipali Madelwar presided over the programme. She appealed for eye donation by saying that if maximum numbers of people donate eyes, it will help the society in eradicating blindness.

On this occasion, 45 officers and employees of Mahavitaran decided to donate eyes. Also, 65 employees were given eye treatment. Roshani Foundation’s Rajendra Jain, Mankar, Daptari, Yadav Lakshane, Prabhakar Dani, Vinay Tekade extended their services during the camp. Anirudh Soman and his colleagues from Madhav Netra Pedhi conducted eye examination. The program was moderated by Smita Nakate and vote of thanks was done by Additional Executive Engineer Jayant Thakre.
