Video: Landlord forcefully throws tenant’s belongings out, breaks compound wall in MIDC, booked

Nagpur: Irked over tenants’ refusal to vacant property he had occupied for last 22-years, a landlord reportedly stormed inside his house, created ruckus before throwing his belongings out and also broke the compound wall of the house on Wednesday, police said.

Ganga Verma was staying at his Balaji Nagar residence for over two decades now. The property belonged to one Hiranwar. From last couple of years, Hiranwar was asking Verma to vacant his property. However, when Verma refused his advances; furious Hiranwar along with his men stormed into Verna’s house and threw his belongings out. The accused also broke the compound wall of the house.

The video of the incident spread like a wildfire on social media platforms. While the residents have alleged inaction of police; cops on the other hand said that they have booked the accused Hiranwar and other men under relevant Sections of the IPC and further investigations are on.
