Nagpur: An interesting and thrilling Softball Cricket Tournament Final Match of President’s Cup, was organised atDelhi Public School Mihan on 19th December 2021.
Six teams comprising of 11 jewel sportspersons from different schools played and competed for the qualifying matches. Out of all the teams, Team Marvels and Team Eternals made their place into the finals. The finals of President’s Cup was played on 19th December, 2021 with great zeal and enthusiasm.
To witness the Finals and to felicitate the winners of The President’s Cup 2021. Mr. UlhasGandhe, an international umpire from the umpire’s panel of BCCI was invited as the chief guest for the event. He has officiated more than 50 international circuits cricket matches in men and women categories.
In his address he encouraged everyone to play the game with full zeal. He also said that Cricket is revered as a testimony to hard work, dedication and above all spirit of oneness and sportsmanship. These are indispensable values which DPS MIHAN aims to inculcate in the students. The player of the tournament was awarded with “The AranyaKedia Trophy”. The players of winning team and runners up team were awarded with medals and certificates.
The programme was attended by the parents. All the teams enjoyed the game. The audience highly appreciated the tournament.
