Nagpur: NCOAT-NIRMITI-2016, a National Conference on Advanced Technology is slated to be conducted on March 11 and 12, 2016 at Priyadarshini Institute of Engineering and Technology, in association with Students’ Chapter of PIET at its Campus near Jaitala, Nagpur.
Director of Shilpa Steel and Power Ltd Karan Bagaria who is an eminent industrialist and speaker, is said to be the Chief Guest for the event. National Conference allows presentation of selected papers by Academicians, Professionals, and students after screening by experts. Selected papers from the National Conference will also be published in the ‘International Journal of Novel Research in Engineering, Science and Technology’ (IJNREST). Project Competition for Engineering and Polytechnic students and Robo Race competition are the special attractions during this conference.
The conference this year has screened and selected more than 150 papers to be presented by the academicians, while more than 50 papers will be presented by the students.

The objective of NCOAT-NIRMITI is to convey and share the knowledge of recent advances, trends and their latest applications in the field of Engineering and Technology amongst researchers, academicians and professionals for the benefit of society at large. It serves as an opportunity for the students to discuss their innovative ideas with the researchers, academicians and professionals in the field of Advanced Technology on one hand and learners of the technology on the other. NIRMITI is a unique initiative of its own kind to start the trend of involving students, industry experts and academicians to present and share their dynamic views via paper presentation and projects so as to discuss and debate the same.
The occasion will be graced by the presence of Secretary of LTJSS Abha Chaturvedi. The event is being conducted under the adept guidance of Principal of PIET and Chairman-NCOAT-NIRMITI-2016 Dr V M Nanoti, Vice Principal of PIET & Vice Chairman-NCOAT-NIRMITI-2016 Dr. G. M. Asutkar, Head of the Department, of Mechanical Engineering and Convener of NCOAT-NIRMITI-2016 and ECE Department and Co-Convener-NCOAT-NIRMITI-2016 Professor D A Kapgate.
