
An array of events based on natural education are organized round the year at biodiversity-rich Raj Bhavan by the oldest and renowned institute the Bombay Natural History Society (BNHS). As part of the ventures, the drawing contest was held. The contest was held from 8 am to 11 am at the sprawling premises of Raj Bhavan in city. Two groups of students – from Class 5 to 7 and from Class 8 and 9 – took part in the ‘Natural Drawing Contest.’ The subjects for younger group of students were “Cleanliness of Your City,” “Save Birds and Trees from Your Gardens, Save Earth.” The group of elder students were given subjects “Save Water, Save Life,” “Losses to Birds caused by kites,” and “Scenario of Jungles from Machans (perchs).” The winners of the first, second and third prizes will be presented Rs 3000, Rs 2000 and Rs 1000 respectively in each group.
