The cops seized a country-made revolver (Desi Katta) from the former driver of a notorious goon in Ajni area on July 13, 2015. The accused is identified as Ashwin.
The role of Ajni police is suspicious and raising many doubts. Some of the suspicious role of Ajni police came to fore when even after seizing the desi katta from the goon’s driver; the control room was not intimated. It is said that Ashwin used to work as a driver for the notorious goon around 10 years ago. With the lapse of time Ashwin quit the job of goon’s driver.

It is alleged that the accused is involved in property dealings for the last few years. On July 14, 2015, the Ajni police received a secret tip-off that a huge cache of arms is stored in the house of the accused. The Ajni Police raided the accused Ashwin’s house. During the raid, the cops could not get the huge cache of arms; however, they did get hold of a country made revolver from his house.
Ajni Police has registered a case against Ashwin under relevant sections of Indian Penal Code and has initiated investigations into the matter.
