6561 students in Nagpur Division to appear in MH-CET on May 8

Nagpur News: The Common Entrance Test MH-CET-2014, conducted by Government of Maharashtra, for Health Sciences Degree Courses (MBBS, BDS, BAMS, BHMS, BUMS, BPTh, BOTh, BASLP, BP&O and BSc. Nursing courses) for the academic year 2014-2015 will be held on Thursday, May 8 2014.

A total of 1,53,229 students across Maharashtra, including 6561 students in Nagpur Division, have registered themselves for MH-CET.

The exam will be held from 10 am to 1 pm. It will have Physics, Chemistry and Biology papers. There are 124 Medical Colleges with intake of 5710 in Maharashtra for pursuing health sciences courses.

In Nagpur Division, the examination will be held in 18 schools and colleges that have been set up as examination centers and all the centers will be under strict police surveillance.

Since the exam is being conducted on a regular working day, the Examination Officer and Dean of Government Medical College and Hospital (GMCH) have appealed the students to be on time at their respective examination center.  Students must be at their examination center by 9.15 am sharp.

Carry photo ID card
The Liaisoning Officer for Nagpur Division Dr S N Parate has appealed students to bring photo identity at the examination centres along with admit card. Even the college identity card will do. They should take out admit card from www.dmer.org. The students have been requested to read the instructions on admit card.

Tips for students
• Carry admit card taken out from www.dmer.org.
• Carry photo identity card along with admit card when coming to centre.
• Students should read the admit card carefully wherein many instructions have been given clearly.
• The examination schedule is from 10 am to 1 pm but students should reach by 9.15 am.
