6 conmen grab woman’s land, sell plots to many people with forged documents

Nagpur: A group of six conmen usurped land of a woman and deceived many people by selling them plots with the help of forged documents. All the accused, including two brothers, have been booked.

The accused Avinash Dharyashil Kakde, Omprakash Dharyashil Kakde, Vijay Panjabrao Gawande, Ashish Prabhakar Bhujbal, all residents of Verma Layout, Ambazari, Sachin Natthu Ingle and Balkrushna Lahanuji Telang of Vinoba Bhave Nagar, Pardi, prepared bogus sale deed of a land belonging to Kantabai Krushnarao Kale (65) of Bharatwada and carved out a layout. Later, with the help of forged documents, created plots and sold them to many people. However, when the fraud came to the fore, the actual land owner Kantabai lodged a complaint with Kalamna police.

PSI Analdas, after conducting an enquiry, booked the six accused under Sections 420, 467, 468, 471, 34 of the IPC and launched an in-depth probe into the matter.
