Nagpur News : Five suicides were reported at different police station on Sunday. No suicide note was found in any case.
Around 1 am, a homemaker Rupa Gaur, 25-year-old, consumed poison at her residence at Zenda Square in Dharampeth. She was immediately rushed to nearby Mayo hospital by her husband, Yogesh, who found her vomiting. However, she was declared dead during treatment after few hours. Sitabuldi police has registered a case of an accidental death.
The second incident was reported around 8.30 am at Ambazari police station after a 37-year-old Ajay Nimgade’s body was fished out from Futala Lake. Nimgade, a resident of Indora Mohalla in Jaripatka, was missing from last three days. A missing complaint was registered in Jaripatka police station.
Around 9 am, Rahul Mahajan, an electrician, hanged himself with an electric wire at his Siraspeth residence in Telipura under the jurisdiction of Imambada police station.
A senior citizen Netaramji Gore, who had consumed poison on Wednesday, succumbed in the wee hours of Sunday.
At Nandanwan, Sunil Gawande hanged himself at his Hirwi Nagar residence around 1.30 pm. Gawande worked with a gas agency.
