Nagpur: Five people were killed in the accident and 19 were injured in a major accident on Umred road on Tuesday evening. Three of them are said to be critical and have been admitted to Government Medical College and Hospital here.
A vehicle MH-34 / A-8475 approaching from Nagpur to Sindevahi (District Chandrapur) was hit by a truck on NH-40 / AK-234, which was on the edge of Bus Road.
The incident took place at Udasga Shivar near Umred, Nagpur – Gadchiroli highway on the boundary of Umred Police Station on Tuesday night at around 8 pm.
