Nagpur : A tragic incident unfolded within the Beltarodi Police Station’s jurisdiction as a 49-year-old man, Kailash Govindrao Warhadkar, lost his life, and his friend, Vijay Vishwanath Shendre (54), suffered severe injuries in a hit-and-run motorcycle accident on Wardha Road. The collision occurred around 10 pm on December 5, 2023, in the Chinchbhuvan area.
Kailash and Vijay were riding their motorcycle when an unidentified two-wheeler collided with them, causing both riders to fall and sustain injuries. The unknown motorcyclist fled the scene with their vehicle immediately after the incident. Kailash was rushed to a private hospital in critical condition but tragically succumbed to his injuries during treatment.
The Beltarodi Police Station has initiated an investigation into the incident, registering the case under Sections 279, 337, and 304 (a) of the Indian Penal Code, along with Sections 134 and 177 of the Motor Vehicle Act.”
