Nagpur News : A four-year-old girl, who was allegedly raped by a man in a village of Madhya Pradesh, was shifted to a Child Care hospital in Nagpur on Saturday as protests swelled over the incident.
Victim arrived at Nagpur Airport at 10:15 pm and was rushed to Care hospital.
The news came as nationwide outrage spilled on to Saturday following the brutal rape of a five-year-old in New Delhi and the victim recuperated in a government hospital.
The girl from a small village near the town of Seoni in Madhya Pradesh had been kidnapped by a local resident and raped by another man on Wednesday.
The accused is said to be missing and police teams have been dispatched to Delhi and Bihar in search of him.
The child was transported via an air ambulance to a Child Care hospital in Nagpur on Saturday evening as her condition deteriorated and locals held protests against the police.
The news of the four-year-old’s rape added to the widespread fury and demonstrations in Delhi against the rape of a five-year-old girl even as the suspect for case was arrested from Bihar.
