Nagpur: Four minor girls went missing and were reportedly kidnapped from different areas of the city within span of 24 hours. Cops have launched search to trace the girls. Interestingly, all the four girls left their houses on one pretext or the other but did not return home.
In Ganeshpeth area, a 45-year old complainant told police that his 17-year old daughter left home by around 10.30 am on Wednesday. The girl did not return even after considerable time forcing her relatives to search her at all possible places but in vain.
Similarly, a 17-year old sister of complainant left her home in Hudkeshwar around 5 pm on Tuesdayand since then she went missing. All efforts by her parents to find her proved futile. In Yashodhara Nagar and MIDC areas, two girls aged 17 and 16 respectively did not return home even after lapse of considerable time.
Cops fro Ganeshpeth, Hudkeshwar, Yashodhara Nagar and MIDC have registered offences against unidentified persons under Section 363 of IPC in accordance with the Supreme Court directives that if a minor girl or boy goes missing then the case be registered as that of kidnapping.
