4 Indica-borne goons rob Railway employee

Relieved of EFR Book, valued at Rs 1,40,000 in Railway terms.

Four persons in an India car robbed a Railway employee and fled away with EFR Book, valued at Rs 1,40,000 in Railway terms.

According to police, the Railway employee Ashok Haribhau Meshram (51), resident of 315, Kapil Nagar, near Boudhha Vihar Jaripatka, was going for duty at about 0045 hours of Tuesday on his Scooty (MH-31/5853). When Ashok Meshram reached in front of Patni Showroom in Sadar, four persons, seating in an Indica car, suddenly came in front of him and whipped out a knife. The four accused then snatched a black-coloured laptop bag containing Railway’s EFR Book valued at Rs 1,40,000 in Railway terms. The Sadar police, acting on the complaint of Ashok Meshram, have booked the Indica car-borne four accused under Sections 392, 34 of the IPC. The Sadar PSI Rakhunde is investigating the matter further and has also searching for the accused.
