4 goons booked for attacking gangster Sonvay

Nagpur: The Pachpaoli police on Wednesday nabbed four goons who attacked Vishal Sonvay, a gangster from Naik Talao area on Tuesday.
The police has booked all the four accused for attempt to murder, while their rivals Kesar, Sanjay Bairagi, Vijay Ckakradhar and Durugkar have also been booked for assault and teasing.

Sonvay was going with his cousin Kesar to Marathe Square near Naik Talao on Tuesday morning when the four accused Indrajeet Belpardhi (27), Rohit Naharkar (19), Shriram Madavi (25) and Shubham Pohane (19) attacked him unprovoked.

They cut off his thumb and caused grievous injuries to his head. As a result, Sonvay fell unconscious. Assuming him to be dead, Indrajeet and his gang fled the spot.

Following the incident, the supporters of Kesar attacked the residences of the rivals.
