312 candidates from Nagpur District in fray for Assembly poll as last date of nominations ends

Nagpur: A total of 312 candidates of different political parties and independents from Nagpur District have jumped in the fray for trying their luck in October 15 Assembly election as the last date of filing nominations ended on Saturday, September 27. The nominations had started from September 20 the day the Notification for Assembly poll in Maharashtra was issued by Election Commission of India. The West Nagpur and Katol constituencies recorded the maximum number of nominations with the figure standing at 32 each. Following are the details:
