Nagpur: Three sons of Vidarbha, redesignated as ‘Vikas-Purush’ (men for developments), whose contribution to development of Vidarbha and the nation has been remarkable, will be felicitated at a function to be held on November 25, at 10.30 am on the vast ground of Anglo-Hindi High School and Junior College, Yavatmal. The programme is being organised under the auspices of Hindi Prasarak Mandal, Berar.
They include Union Surface Transport Minister Nitin Gadkari, Union Minister for Chemicals and Fertilizers Hansraj Ahir and former Union Minister for Civil Aviation Praful Patel.
The function will be presided by Editorial Board Chairman of Lokmat Media Group Pvt Ltd and president of Hindi Prasarak Mandal, Berar, MP Vijay Darda.
To be prominently present on this occasion include Guardian Minister Sanjay Rathod, MP Bhavana Gavali, MLA Madan Yerawar, former MPCC president Manikrao Thakre, former Minister Shivajirao Moghe and former Dy Speaker of Maharashtra Legislature, Vasantrao Purke.
On this occasion, septuagenarian Shankarrao Sangle, former Principal of Amolakchand Mahavidyalaya, Yavatmal for his remarkable contribution to the field of education and society will also be felicitated along with Priyadarshini Sahakari Sut Girni director Manikrao Bhoyar and Dhumnapur Maruti Devasthan trustee Dwarkaprasad Sharma.
