Nagpur: Old Kamptee police have arrested three goons on the charges of attempting to kill father-son duo over old enmity on Monday.
The complainant, Yashwant Tarachand Borkar (50), resident of New Khalashi Line, Kamptee, told police that the three accused Vishal Durvas Khobragade (21), Harish alias Chhotu Kishore Tirpude (22) and Ashwin Balawant Bahadure (23), all residents of New Khalashi Line, Kamptee, forcibly entered into his house around 3.30 pm on Monday. The accused started a verbal duel with Yashwant and his son Harshal over old enmity. Suddenly, one of the accused Ashwin Bahadure whipped out a knife and attacked Harshal with the intention of killing him. At the same time, other two accused Vishal and Harish hit Yashwant with an iron rod on his head causing serious injury. The profusely bleeding father-son duo was rushed to GMCH by nearby residents. After the murderous assault, the three accused fled the spot.
PSI D Ganvir booked the accused under Sections 307, 324, 452, 34 of the IPC and succeeded in arresting them. Further probe is underway.
