3 goons abuse Traffic PSI on duty in Sitabuldi, threaten to kill him by knife

Nagpur: In an audacious act, three criminals on Wednesday abused a Traffic Police Sub-Inspector on duty and threatened to kill him by whipping a knife. The three goons have been booked.

The Traffic Police Sub-Inspector Vinod Sadanand Lokhande (57), attached to South Zone, was performing duty in front of RMS Office Main Gate near Jaistambh around 3.30 pm on Wednesday. While the PSI was duty, the three accused goons named Ruksan Firoze Khan, Firoze Khan and Umesh Manoj Bhaisadele (19), all residents of Mohan Nagar Khalasi Line, indulged in wordy duel with the cop. The accused started hurling abuses on PSI Lokhande and threatened to kill him by whipping out a knife. This fracas was being witnessed by a passerby who later deposed as witness when the Traffic PSI filed a complaint with Sitabuldi Police Station in this regard.

Acting on the complaint, Sitabuldi PSI Karmalwar has booked the three accused goons Ruksan Firoze Khan, Firoze Khan and Umesh Manoj under 353, 506(2), 294, 34 of IPC and mounted a hunt to nab them.
