Nagpur: A 27-year-old man reportedly committed suicide by hanging at his house in Nandanvan area here in the wee hours of Monday. The deceased has been identified as Rushab Vinod Sawant.
According to police sources, Rushab was 12th pass. He was reportedly suffering from depression due to a failed relationship and unemployment.
At around 2 pm on Monday, Rushab reportedly went to the roof top bathroom and hanged himself using a scarf. No suicide note has been found, sources said.
Based on the complaint lodged by his father Vinod, cops have registered a case of accidental death and sent the body to Government Medical College and Hospital (GMCH) for autopsy.
