Nagpur: Guardian Minister Chandrashekhar Bawankule on Saturday announced that around 2000 Divyang persons of city and district will be provided Jaipur Foot during the special camp to be organized from October 14 to 25. The camp is being held at the initiative of Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis and Union Minister Nitin Gadkari, Bawankule said.
The Jaipur Foot Distribution Camp at Yashwant Stadium is being organized on the joint auspices of Bhagwan Mahavir Viklang Sahayata Samiti, Jaipur, Nagpur Municipal Corporation, District Handicapped Rehabilitation Centre and Zilla Parishad. All the required assistive material will be provided free of cost. For the Divyang of Nagpur city, the camp will be from October 14 to 16. For Nagpur rural, Hingna, Kamptee, it will be from October 17 to 19. Divyang from Ramtek, Parshioni and Mauda will get benefit on October 19 and 20. October 21 and 22 will be for Umred, Kuhi and Bhivapur beneficiaries. Divyang from Katol, Narkhed and Kalmeshwar will get the Jaipur Foot on October 23 and 24. October 25 will be for beneficiaries of Saoner Tehsil. The timings of the camp are from 9 am to 3 pm.
Apart from Jaipur Foot, clutches, hearing aids, assistive kits will be distributed to around 2000 Divyang persons in the mega camp.
The meeting was also attended by MLAs Sudhir Parve, Ashish Deshmukh, District Collector Sachin Kurve, all SDPOs and other officials.
