Nagpur: A 20-year-old woman has accused her cousin of repeatedly molesting and threatening her in the month of July this year. The accused has been identified has Priyansh Prabudha Jain, resident of 365, Civil Lines, Jhansi (UP) who is her aunt’s son. However, it is still not clear why she complained so late.
It is learnt that the accused had visited the victim’s home during his holidays back in July. In the meantime when the survivor was alone, he reportedly pounced on her from behind and molested her. The accused also threatened her with dire consequences if she reveals anything.

However, after being quiet for over four months, the survivor disclosed her nightmare to her mother. Subsequently, the duo approached Lakadganj police and lodged a complaint against the accused.
Lakadganj police have registered a case under section 354, 354 (A) (2), 504, 506 against the accused Jain and started the probe.
