Nagpur: In a bewildering incident, two minor sons of a beggar, who too were begging, were kidnapped by an auto driver in Jaripatka area on Tuesday evening. Cops have mounted a massive search to trace the kid brothers as well as nab the abductor.
The two siblings, Mannu alias Abhiman Balwant Patvi (7) and Raju alias Sandeep (5) were begging in Jaripatka area around 6 pm on Tuesday.
At the same time, the accused auto driver named Lacchu came to the two begging brothers and lured them with a ride in his three-wheeler auto. Unaware of the nefarious designs of the accused Lacchu, the kids boarded the auto. However, neither the accused auto driver returned nor the two kid brothers even after lapse of considerable time. Mother of the two kids got panicky over the incident and searched her sons at all possible places but to no avail. Finally, she lodged a missing complaint with Jaripatka police.
The Lady PSI Kinnake, , following the Supreme Court directives that if any minor boy or girl goes missing, then the case should be treated as that of kidnapping, registered a case under Section 363 of the IPC and has mounted a massive hunt to trace the two brothers.
