Nagpur: Demanding return of credit money proved costly for two friends as they were thrashed and abducted by four car-borne ruffians. One of the friends was released but the whereabouts of another are reportedly still not known.
The two friends named Rajesh Suresh Brijwani (25), resident of Plot No. B/74, Qtr No. 878, Hudco Colony, and Kamalesh Thaswani were on a stroll in Sadar area around 7 pm on July 31, 2017. At that time, Kamalesh gave his motorcycle to Rajesh and asked him to near Ashoka Beer Bar situated in front of Sangeeta Building in Jaripatka area and bring Rs 2000 given to Sahil Khemchandani. As told by Kamalesh, Rajesh went to the spot and waited there.
Soon a white-coloured arrived there and an accused named Nasib asked Rajesh where Kamalesh is. Suddenly, the accused Nasib forced Rajesh to sit in the car in which two more unidentified accused were sitting. The accused trio later trashed Rajesh and took him to near Anjuman College, Sadar and released him. However, from there, the accused forced Kamalesh to sit in the car and took him to an undisclosed destination. Since then the whereabouts of Kamalesh are reportedly not known.
Jaripatka API G P Ingle has, on the basis of complaint of Rajesh, registered a case under Sections 363, 323, 504, 34 of the IPC and searching for the accused as well as Kamalesh.
