2 families clash violently in Ajni, two receive burn injuries, 18 accused booked

In a bizarre incident, two families, including six women members, clashed violently with each other, threatened to kill and ransacked properties. Two members of a family received burn injuries when boiling oil was thrown on them by rival family. After a complaint and counter complaint, Ajni police have booked 18 persons, including a juvenile delinquent, in this connection. The landlord-tenant brawl took place in Bhagwan Nagar area here on Wednesday.

The trouble started when the accused Jaiswal family — Suresh Jaiswal (50), Lata Suresh Jaiswal (45), Prakash Laxman Jaiswal (48), Sunita Prakash Jaiswal (42), Asha Madan Jaiswal (50), Ram Naresh Jaiswal (48), a juvenile member, all residents of Plot No. 120, Bhagwan Nagar, and their 5-6 accomplices barged into the house of landlord Nitin Dashrath Nagpure (32) around 12 noon on Wednesday and started hurling abuses on family members and even threatened to kill them over some issue. The accused Jaiswal family and its accomplices ransacked households of landlord Nagpure and even threw boiling oil from a kadhai on Nitin and his mother Pushpa Dashrath Nagpure (65) inflicting serious burn injuries.

Ajni WPSI N G Bhute, based on a complaint lodged by Nitin Nagpure, has booked the Jaiswal family and its accomplices under Sections 326, 452, 427, 294, 506(B), 143, 147, 149 of the IPC and launched a probe into the matter.

On the other hand, in a counter complaint, one of the accused Prakash Laxman Jaiswal told police that he is tenant of Nagpure. Around 10 am on Wednesday, Nitin Dashrath Nagpure (32), Surendra dashrath Nagpure (38), Pushpa Dashrath Nagpure (65), Pallavi Nitin Nagpure and Swati Surendra Nagpure (28), all residents of Plot No. 120, Bhagwan Nagar, entered the shop of Jaiswals by breaking open the rear door of the shop. After entering the shop, the Nagpures took away a fridge, six units of wooden counter, one rack, table fan collectively worth Rs 60,000. The accused Nagpures even indulged in abusing and threatening the Jaiswal family.

Based on the complaint, the Woman PSI Bhute booked the Nagpure family under Sections 457, 380, 454, 427, 504, 506(B), 323, 143, 147, 149 of the IPC and investigating the matter further.
