Nagpur: In an audacious act, two brothers severely thrashed and molested a mother-daughter duo and another woman over mobile phone. The incident took place Mankapur area here on Saturday evening. Surprisingly, no arrests have so far been made.
The 36-year old complainant, a resident of Mankapur area, told police that she took mobile phone from wife of the accused Roshan Sahare (29), residing in same area, for use. After sometime, the accused Roshan Sahare called the complainant woman to his house on the pretext of fetching some phone numbers from her mobile phone. As the woman went to the house of accused Roshan Sahare, he along with his brother Rakesh Sahare (29), thrashed her severely and hit her with an electric press. The accused brothers also pulled the woman out and indulged in obscene acts and molested her. Hearing the woman’s shouts, her daughter and sister-in-law rushed to save her but they were also bashed up and molested.
Mankapur ASI Padmakar Dhurve, acting on the woman’s complaint, booked the accused brother duo under Sections 354(A), 323, 324, 34 of the IPC. No arrests have been made as yet.
