Nagpur: Sonegaon police says a 16-year-old boy committed suicide on Friday. He hanged self with the help of a rope at round 5.30 pm.
The deceased has been identified as Abhishek Ramteke (16), a resident of Panchtara Housing Society, Sonegoan. Police said, Abhishek had hanged self at the first floor of his residence with the help of a rope. His family members discovered his hanging body after which Sonegaon police was informed. Police reached the spot and after performing panchanama of the scene, they have sent the body for post mortem to Government Medical College and Hospital.
Reason behind this decision of ending his life could not be ascertained, police said. And, no suicide note was recovered from the scene, police added. Meanwhile, cops have registered a case of accidental death and started their investigations.
