148 feared dead as Airbus A320 crashes in France

An A320 passenger plane of ‘Germanwings,’ a low cost carrier of Lufthansa the well known German Airliner, has crashed in France. There were 142 passengers and six crew members on board and the chances of their survival in the crash appear bleak.

The cause of the crash is not yet known. The plane was on way to Paris after taking off from Barcelona.

Prime Minister of France Valls has said that he fears all abroad are dead.

Germanwings A320 D-AIPX is one of the oldest A320 with serial number 0147 and was delivered in Nov 1990.

The plane was flying over the sea at normal altitude but suddenly started losing height and crashed into the sea. The debris of the crashed plane was located.
