Nagpur: In the spate of incidents of rape, a youth kidnapped a 14-year old girl and raped her for three days. The incident occurred in Nandanvan police jurisdiction. The accused has been booked but has not been arrested as yet.
The accused has been identified by the first name only – Vijay (22), resident of Nandanvan locality. Around 1 pm on Monday (December 4) the accused Vijay abducted the 14-year old girl, residing in same locality, and took her to his house. Later, Vijay took the minor girl to a room in Kumbhartoli and raped her. The accused continued sexual exploitation of the kidnapped girl for three days. The victimised girl somehow managed to free herself around 12 noon of Wednesday and later registered a case against the accused with Nandanvan police.
PSI Thorat, based on the girl’s complaint, has booked the accused Vijay under Sections 363, 376(2)(I) of the IPC read with Sub-Sections 3, 4 of Protection of Children from Sexual Offences Act, 2012. No arrest has been made so far.
