117 merit holders to be feted at 102nd convocation of RTMNU

Priyanka to get highest 18 medals

The 102th Convocation of Rastrasant Tukdoji Maharaj Nagpur University (RTMNU) will be held on August 29, Saturday. Priyanka Mundra of Dr Babasaheb Ambedkar Law College, Deekshabhoomi will get the highest 18 medals and prizes.

Renowned scientist Padmabhushan Dr Jayant Narlikar will be the chief guest for the convocation to be held at Dr Vasantrao Deshpande Hall.

On the occassion students from various education department will be honoured with medals and prizes.

177 students to get medals and prizes:
The Graduate and Post Graduate students who have passed in the summer examination of 2014 will be awarded their degrees in the convocation. Students who have topped in their respective streams will awarded gold, silver medals and other prizes.

Law students shine in medal tally:
The 102th convocation will see the students of law college dominating the highest medal tally. Priyanka Mundra of LLB (5-year) of Dr Babasaheb Ambedkar Law College, Deekshabhoomi will be getting the highest 18 medals for scoring highest in her stream.

Anuj Saxena, a student of the same college, will be getting 11 medals and prizes. Priyanka Valko, a student of BSc- Hislop college will be getting 13 medals for securing highest marks in her stream.

Niharika Jain of RKNEC college will be getting 11 medals and prizes for securing top position in the BE-B Tech exam. Meena Pijorkar will be getting 11 medals and prizes for top position in MA stream. Highest medal winners
