Nagpur: An 11-year old girl, who was sleeping with her mother in their Kalamna house, went missing in the wee hours (4 am) of Monday mysteriously. Cops, after registering a kidnapping case, have launched a search to trace the girl.
The 27-year old mother of the girl told police that she and her daughter went to sleep together. Initially, the girl was hesitating to sleep but after scolding from her mother, she agreed to sleep with her. However, when the mother woke at 4 am she could not find her daughter in house. A frantic search failed to find her. Panicked by the development, the mother approached Kalamna police and filed a missing complaint.
Woman PSI Shubhangi Thorat, following the Supreme Court directives that if any minor boy or girl goes missing, then the case should be treated as that of kidnapping, registered a case under Section 363 of the IPC and launched a search to trace the girl.
