11 members of two families booked for clashes in Hudkeshwar

Nagpur: Hudkeshwar police have booked 11 members of two families for clashing with each other and hooliganism over a dispute on Sunday evening.

The trouble started when the accused Rahul Lonare (30), Paresh Dilip Lonare (26), Chhotu Dilip Lonare (24), Dilip Lonare (55), Kirti Ashok Shirpurkar (32), and Bhagyashri Rahul Lonare (26), all residents of Sharda Square, Kailas Nagar, gathered in front of house of Satish Pandurang Lonare (42), resident of Munje Square, Mahal, and thrashed him and his mother over a dispute.

Hudkeshwar ASI Raut, based on Satish Lonare’s complaint, booked the six accused under Sections 143, 147, 149, 323, 427 of the IPC and started a probe.

However, in a counter complaint, a resident of Plot No. 1C, Sharda Square, Rahul Manohar Lonare (34), told police that he was at shop around 7 pm on Sunday. During the same time, the accused Pushpa Lonare (67), Satish Lonare (42), Amit Lonare (40) resident of Zenda Square, Mahal, Ashok Shirpurkar (40) and Dinesh Shirpurkar (45) arrived at Rahul’s shop and abused him in filthy language. The accused also ransacked his shop.

The exact reason behind the two families clashing with each other could not be ascertained.

Acting on the counter complaint, ASI Raut registered a case under Sections 143, 147, 149, 294, 323, 427 of the IPC and launched investigation into the matter.
