1 rounded up carrying ‘Desi katta’ and 4 cartridges

NAGPUR : Salim Ishaq from Uttar Pradesh was cauth carrying a Desi Katta by Female Constable of RPF on Thursday at the Nagpur Railway Station. The other accomplice Mushtaq managed to escape. Salim and Mushtaq came to the railway station via Santra Market to head to Agra. They were ataying at a rented room in an area adjacent. Salim and Mushtaq while at the Scanning Machine on the entrance started an argument which caught the cop’s attention. The cop then asked Salim and Mushtaq to move a little ahead and solve the differences. A female RPF constable then felt doubtful about the suspicious looking bag and took it for scanning. Fearing about getting caught, Mushtaq took to his heels while Salim was caught. Slaim on interrogation said that he was paid Rs. 2000 by Mushtaq to accompany him. Cops presume that the two must have come to Nagpur to sell the weapon. Further investigations are underway.
