NMC’s workshop on draft revised CDP for Nagpur on March 17

Nagpur Municipal Corporation has been selected as one of the 30 local bodies across the country under Capacity Building of Urban Development (CBUD) Project of Ministry of Urban Development, Government of India. Further, the Government has appointed M/s CRISIL Risk and Infrastructure Solutions Limited for preparation of Revision City Development Plan (CDP) for Nagpur.

As part of CDP preparation process, NMC had conducted the focus group discussion workshops with the experts in various sectors in April 2014. Based on the discussions and suggestions therein and in the meeting of Technical Advisory Committee of Ministry of Urban Development, the CRISIL Risk and Infrastructure Solutions Limited has submitted draft revised CDP of Nagpur which is uploaded on BMC website nmcnagpur.gov.in.

Now, NMC has proposed to conduct the final workshop with all the stakeholders on March 17, 2015 at 11 am in Town Hall, Mahal. The objective of this final workshop is to seek the suggestions from various stakeholders on projects, capital investment plan, and the financial operating plan incorporated in the revised draft CDP of Nagpur.
