Nagpur Ex-Fisheries Student bags top rank in AIEEA-ICAR-PhD Entrance 2015

Ex-Students of College Of Fisheries Science, Nagpur (COFSN) have secured top ranks in AIEEA-ICAR-PhD Entrance examinations 2015. Amol B Gaikwad a ex-student of COFSN has bagged the first rank (1st Rank in Scheduled Caste candidate and 4th Rank in All India Ranking) in the All-India Entrance Examination (AIEEA-ICAR-PhD-2015). The Indian Council of Agricultural Research (ICAR), New Delhi, conducts AIEEA for admission to PhD degree programme in Agriculture and allied sciences every year for 25 percent seats in Agriculture and Fisheries universities.

The qualified student receive the ICAR Senior Research Fellowship of Rs.16,560 per month to pursue their PhD of Fisheries Science degree programme, Student Amol B Gaikwad said , winning ICAR Senior Research Fellowship in the AIEEA-PhD has always been the dream of students pursuing MFSc at the fisheries colleges in India. Students of fisheries colleges across the country had been endeavouring to excel in this examination to win fellowship, Amol said.

“From last two year i am not in Nagpur, because of my master degree studies in Mumbai. I miss Nagpur, family, friends. This is a golden time of my life. My father is a Security guard and mother is housemaid. My elder brother works as an office boy. Every one in family made lots of sacrifices for my better study, my elder brother started working for my studies. This is very big milestone for student like me who wants to do something in there life. I love my city very much (The Orange shape Heart City :Nagpur) here i want to heartily thank you all Nagpur ,family ,friends and all other those peoples for love and support also made me the explorer and the expertise in my field, without you and your blessing i am nothing !”, he said.
