Mobile servicing shop employee dupes owner of Rs 50 lakh

Nagpur: An employee of a mobile servicing shop cheated the owner to the tune of Rs 50 lakh by preparing bogus bills and other documents. The accused employee has been booked but has so far not been arrested.

According to police, the complainant Adam Ali (37), native of R 3, Banjara Hills, Hyderabad, had set up the mobile servicing shop named Comwell at the first floor of Empress Mall near Cotton Market. Adam Ali employed the accused Intewaq Kamruddin Khan (34), resident of Prashant Colony, Borgaon, as Sub-Incharge of the shop which deals in servicing of Motorola, HTC, Lenovo, Blackberry and brand companies. Over a long period, the accused Intewaq Kamruddin Khan prepared bogus customer bills of the mobile companies and placed orders for spare parts and other goods in massive quantity from the branded companies. However, the crafty employee sold the goods directly to other parties and people directly.

Moreover, the accused sent back inferior and damaged goods to the companies stating that the goods were damaged in transport. With this cunning modus operandi, the accused Intewaq Kamruddin Khan duped the owner of mobile servicing shop Comwell to the tune of Rs 50 lakh over a period.

Based on a case registered by  Adam Ali of Comwell, Ganeshpeth API Wakde has booked the accused Intewaq Kamruddin Khan under Sections 420, 468, 471, 472, 406 of IPC and investigating the matter further.
