Nagpur: Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) is offering around 226 Programmes in various streams. For many of them admission is direct and those who fulfill minimum eligibility are given admission directly. In some courses like B.Ed, MBA and BSC (Nursing) the admissions are given based on the Entrance Test Merit list. For the session commencing January 2017 the Entrance Test will be held on October 23, 2016 and the last date to submit filled in Entrance Form is September 9, 2016.
The B.Ed. Program of IGNOU is approved by NCTE revised guidelines and the eligibility is: any candidate with 50% marks in Bachelor degree and Trained in Service Teacher (who completed NCTE recognized Teachers Education Programme through Face to Face mode).
The Prospectus is available for Rs. 1000 Cost at Regional Centre and IGNOU Study Centres at Amravati, Gadchiroli, Chandrapur, Gondia, Hingoli, Akot, Pusad and Nanded.
