These disgusting pins were for sale outside Trump’s rally venue recently.
This is from the world’s “most civilized nation” where a woman is contesting for the first time – and this is the level at which she has to fight. Sad!
Does USA not have the equivalent of India’s Election Commission? If it had, would these ‘pins’ be on the market?
Trump, ofcourse has been quick to point out that this is not part of his “official merchandize” but did not prohibit sale of the buttons nevertheless.
Last week, Donald Trump unwittingly launched a new meme when he accused Hillary Clinton of playing the “woman card” during her campaign. Trump laughably suggested that Democrat hopeful Clinton had somehow benefited from being a woman, saying: “The only card [Hillary Clinton] has is the woman card. She has nothing else going. If Hillary Clinton were a man, I don’t think she would get five per cent of the vote.”
Not for nothing though is Hillary considered smart. Her campaign and other institutions worldwide were quick to pillory Trump’s assertion that women face favouritism rather than sexism, and the Clinton camp was soon offering a free “woman’s card” with every donation a move that is said to have netted them $2.4m !
