girish vyasNagpur: The Games that politicians play is really strange. The commoners may take some time to realize that what appears on the surface is not what happens in reality.

The two major game-changing political parties which were in the fray for Member of Legislative Council (MLC) Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and Congress Party seem to have drawn a truce and have settled on a seat swapping mechanism.

You give me a seat in Mumbai and I will give you a seat in Nagpur.

Congress Party has allegedly decided to withdraw the candidature of both the candidates from Nagpur MLC election. As per sources, the decision has been taken to settle for the candidature of Bhai Jagtap in Mumbai in exchange for BJP’s Girish Vyas in Nagpur. This resulted in a clean win for Girish Vyas in Nagpur MLC polls unopposed.

In the Congress-BJP deal, it is alleged that Manoj Kotak was asked to withdraw his candidature in exchange for Bhai Jagtap of Congress in Mumbai. In return, Congress withdrew the candidature of its candidates Ashok Singh Chauhan (official) and Sanjay Mahalkar of Congress Party against BJP’s Girish Vyas in Nagpur.
