Deadly attack on liquor addict at Indora Square, accused arrested

A minor tiff led to a life threatening attack on a drunkard who refused to pay for the snacks he ate from the roadside eatery near country liquor shop at Indora square. Jaripatka police have arrested the snack shop vendor Ravi Lonare, 40, upon the complaint received by the injured Anil Nandeshwar, 45.

Police sources informed that Anil Sevakdas Nandeshwar, resident of Vidya Nagar in Jaripatka had taken a plate of snack (bhajiya) after consuming liquor from Indora square country liquor shop. Later when the cart owner Ravi asked money for the snack, he refused to pay. Then Ravi forcibly put his hands into Anil’s pocket. As Anil pushed him down, furious Ravi returned at Anil with a sharp edged weapon, injuring the latter grievously. The accused also attacked on Anil’s neck, cheeks and abdomen with the weapon, with an intent to kill him.

Police have registered the case of attempt to murder against Anil upon the complaint of Ravi.
