Two Hyderabad fraudsters booked for duping Kalamna bizman of Rs 97 lakh
Nagpur: Kalamna police have booked two Hyderabad based tricksters for allegedly duping a city based businessman to the sum of Rs 97 lakh on the pretext of investing in airplanes scrap scheme between January 2018 and December 2020.
Based on the complaint lodged by Kantilaal Manganlaal Makwana (47), a resident of Flat No. 8, Netaji Nagar, Kalmana police have booked two Hyderabad men identified as Santosh Reddy and Jayrambhai Meghji Patel.
According to police sources, Makwana reportedly met the accused duo back in 2017. The duo then fetched the plan of investing in the forged airplanes scrap scheme to Makwana, luring him with exciting returns. To capitalize the offer, Makwana agreed to invest and gave the duo Rs 97 lakh, between the period of January 2018 and December 2020. However, the duo never returned the profits and even failed to return his money. Following which he approached Kalamna police.
Cops have booked the accused duo under Sections 420,34 of the IPC and started the probe.
