NVCC seeks Covid vaccine priority for traders

Nagpur: Ashwin Mehadia, President of Nag Vidarbha Chamber of Commerce (VNCC), a leading and apex organization of 13 lakh traders of Vidarbha, demanded to give priority to traders in mass Covid vaccine to process.

He said that the NVCC has always worked in coordination with government and non-governmental organizations for business interests.

After suffering with the Corona pandemic for the last one year, Indian scientists have succeeded in making Covid vaccine; it is a matter of great pride for the country. From January 16, 2021, the government has decided to give vaccines to the Covid warriors first in the state of Maharashtra as well as in the entire country, which is welcome and highly appreciated.

The business community is an important component of the economy. It takes part in social work along with helping in the economic development of the country.

Right from the beginning of the lockdown in the country since March 2020, the health workers as well as the business community, followed the government guidelines and supported the government in the fight against the Corona pandemic.

At the same time, the traders started their economic activities and also gave the example of humanity by providing food and housing facilities to the migrant laborers on a personal level, without fear of the epidemic.

The Secretary of the NVCC, Ramavatar Totla, said that being an important component of the economy, the government should give priority to traders in giving Covid vaccine, so that the business community can do more economic activity without getting scared of the Corona epidemic and ultimately contributing to economic development.
